ALPHABETICAL UPLOADS OF WHACKED OUT SINGLES PT. 2

This is the second installment in my ongoing series of postings of singles from the vdoandsound archives.

ALU-BITTE WARTEN SIE!, 1981, GERMANY
Magnificent gritty Neue Deutsche Welle minimal synth from ex members of krautrockers Sand.

A MOUSE ORCHESTRA-A LUMP IN YOUR THROAT PT. 1 & PT.2, 1994, UK / GERMANY
Beautiful and unexpectedly highly musical collaboration between Christoph Heemann of HNAS/Mirrror and David Jackman of Organum.

ANODE/CATHODE-PUNKANACHROCK, 1981 (RECORDED: 1975-1977), JAPAN
Awesome release of freaked out half-submerged punk-tinged acid jamming with much tape speed fuckery on this triangular jacket-housed mega-rarity on the legendary Pinakotheca label.

ANONYMOUS-SNAKE ATTACK/CORPORATE FOOD, 1980, USA
Sense deforming post punk demetia of an extremely acidic sort that compares favorably with the psychic meltdown atmospheres of Chrome, I.M.A. and Cake Beast-era Lemon Kittens. Some truly sick shit goin' down on this one, friends...

APPI-MAHNFAKTOR KATHARSIS, 1986, GERMANY
Intuitive art brut sound deformations somewhere between Anne Gillis, Ghedalia Tazartes and Runzelstirn & Gurglestock.

THE ARCHAIC SMILE-LAST WORDS/NEVER SPOKEN, 1981, UK
Excellent moody synth driven post punk with gothy overtones on side A, hyperactive Athletico Spizz 80-like new wave fun on side B.

AREA-L'INTERNAZIONALE/CITAZIONE DA GEORGE L. JACKSON,
Italian progressive jazz rock gods Area tackle the communist anthem L'Internazionale for a second time after their Are(a)zione live LP, this time in a studio setting to far richer effect, while the b-side is a deeply tripped out abstraction complete with hissing effected narration. For Area devotees, this is an absolutely essential piece of the puzzle.

ARNOLD LANE-BOOK OF SAND/NO COLLAR, 1982, UK
A side is great hooky synthpop in a sort of vaguely early OMD-ish way while the B-side gets into more freaky Snakefinger cum Devo territory to terrific effect.

ARTLESS TIME-HOMAGES, 1982, USA
An early release on Elliott Sharp's Zoar label, this is a completely wonderful EP of delicately peculiar sonic assemblages, all three here designed as homages to, respectively, Gheorghe Zamfir, Thaddeus Cahill and Lou Harrison and largely constructed of vibes, synths and a pile of shakers and rattlers.

never heard of any of these, was particularly interested to hear the ALU as it's an extension of output from the SAND personnel. this ANONYMOUS is particularly confusing & interesting. still downloading part2. thank you for the great posts. more like these, please.

Sad isn't it? Perhaps there will be a re-up? The Alu & Mouse Orch &"'s especially, but still, it sounds petty to ask when there are so many other gems here!

I'd love to see "Last Words" by The Archaic Smile reposted - I remember this being a fantasic single and I'd love to hear it again.
